A few things that are top-of-mind for me right now as I close out the week:
New Site Launch
I’ll be launching a site focused on “No Code” automation and tools. The site isn’t fully live yet, but you can sign up to receive updates and content here: https://nocodeautomation.io. Expect regular updates here on the progress of the site.
Adding To The Conversation
As I discussed in a previous post, I’ve reframed how I produce this posts. Rather than a meaningless signal of how much content I’ve consumed, I’d rather occasionally write about cool or interesting things.
People think that if they consume enough information, they'll eventually know enough to write well, but nobody has ever eaten their way to becoming a Michelin Star chef.— David Perell (@david_perell) July 22, 2020
You have to actually cook.
This seems like a good weekend to revisit Paul Graham’s excellent: How To Write Usefully.
No-Code Is Best Code
An oldie-but-goodie from Jeff Atwood seems particularly relevant these days:
…but the best code is no code at all
How far can we take this? What is the natural conclusion? Can you build fully functioning, modern tooling with this mindset?
I’m going to find out…
Hope everyone stays healthy and safe this weekend.
